Additional explanations. According to the rule of knitting caps, to obtain the shape of the cap we need, we need to make increments further through the row.

Accordingly, we will not make any increases in the next row, and here a new type of column will appear, due to which a relief strip is formed in the wedges.

• Row 12: * Purl 11; 7 l.r.ssn; 2 purl dc; 1 l.r.ssn; 1 purl dc* repeat from * to * three more times = 88 stitches.
  This row forms our transverse stripes in the wedges.
  The next row will be with increases.
• 13th row: *7 l.r.ssn; 3 p/dc (2 according to the loops, the third from the jumper between p/dc and l.r.dc); 1 l.r.ssn; 1 p/dc* repeat from * to * seven more times = 96 loops.

Men's crochet hats

General recommendations for knitting:
- knitting begins from the center, which is a ring of air loops (ch);
- next we will use ch, double crochet (s1h) and connecting loops (sp) at the end of each row;
- to start each row it will be necessary to knit lifting elements;
- the main pattern of the upper part of the cap consists of 12 rows, each of which is indicated in the diagram with a separate color.
So, let's move on to the description of the knitting process itself.
The start ring consists of 6 ch.

A block of 11 chain stitches is knitted into this ring, before which 3 lifting chain stitches are knitted.

The second row also consists of 11 dc and a lifting chain of 3 ch, but between the columns we already knit 1 ch.

In the third row, we knit 4 dc into arches from ch.

The fourth row repeats the alternation of the second row.

In the fifth row in the arches between the columns we knit 3 s1n.

Again we knit a row similar to the second.

The next stage of knitting is to alternate the pattern of the thirteenth and fourteenth rows without increasing the number of loops and stitches. The height of the hat should be adjusted by periodically trying the hat on the child or checking the height with a regular hat of the right size if it is not possible to try on an intermediate version of a knitted hat.

The final stage of knitting consists of knitting single crochets (sc).

We knit 4 rows of sc without increasing the number of loops. After this, we knit a row in which we knit 2 sc into every fifth top of the sc. After this, we make a row of sc without increasing, but using yarn of a different color. Again, the white row is knitted with an increase in the number of loops by knitting 2 sc in every sixth top. Next, several rows of sc are knitted without increasing the number of rows. After the white one, we introduce a beige row, again a white one, and finish knitting with orange yarn.

As a result of many hours of work, I got this hat for walking in sunny weather.

Let's move on to the "ears". We knit each of them, decreasing 1 sc from each edge in each front row. We fasten the thread and carefully hide it.

From the yarn for the “fur trim” we knit the second layer of the “ears - back of the head” part according to the pattern indicated above. We connect the layers of “ears”.

Now, starting from the corner of the visor, we tie the cap around the perimeter with “fur” thread. Next, we knit the visor in single crochets for 15 rows, and bevel the edges in the last five.

All that remains is to sew on the strings and lining - and the warm crocheted winter hat for the boy is ready!

Hats for autumn and spring

Everything ingenious is simple! Why not please your child with a new thing created in just one evening? We offer several simple designs for spring and autumn hats for boys.

Three-color hat

This beautiful hat looks vibrant with its rich colors and large pompom. It will look great against the background of the autumn palette and will emphasize the perky character of your little boy.

Here is a description of the work for sizes 3/5/7 years.

Prepare:

• yarn from wool (60%) and polyacrylic (40%) with a nominal thickness of 50 m per 50 g: 100 g each of turquoise, green and orange;
• hook number 7.

We knit in circular rows in the direction from the bottom of the product to the top of the head.

Let's start with turquoise color. We make a chain of 52/56/60 ch and connect it into a ring. We knit strips of 5.5/6/6.5 cm in single columns using turquoise, orange and green yarn.

At a height of 12.5/14/15.5 cm we begin to decrease the loops:

We tighten the loops, cut and fasten the thread.

We decorate the hat with a pompom made from turquoise yarn.

Striped hat with pompom

This hat can be worn by both preschool children and teenagers. The model is suitable for both a boy and a girl - it depends on the selected color scheme of yarn.

We give a diagram for ages 6/9/13 years.

You will need wool yarn with a thickness of 50 g/70 m: melange gray, green, blue, black, light green - 50 g each; hook number 7.

The main pattern is half double crochets. We start the new row with two air loops, equating them to the 1st loop of the row.

The sequence of color stripes is presented below (the number of rows for different sizes is indicated through an inclined line):

We close the chain of 4 ch into a ring. We knit circular rows this way:

• 1st: 2 ch, 10/11/12 hdc, 1 ss in 2nd ch of rise (= 11/12/13 p.);
• 2nd: add 1 hdc to each p., at the end we knit 1 dc in the 1st p. from the beginning of the row (= 22/24/26 p.);
• 3rd: in every 2nd p. add 1 hdc, 1 ss (= 33/36/39 p.);
• 4th: in every 3rd p. add 1 hdc, 1 ss (= 44/48/52 p.);
• We knit the remaining 14/16/18 rows without adding.

Having completed 18/20/22 rows, we break the thread and fasten it from the wrong side.

We make a multi-colored pompom from leftover yarn to decorate the hat.

Funny "animal hats"

Nowadays, funny animal hats have become very fashionable. We invite you to try crocheting a hat for a boy who will be delighted with the animal face on his head.

Hedgehog hat

Before you start handicrafts, prepare for work:

• light gray yarn (300 m/100 g) with a composition of acrylic (55%) and cotton (45%);
• black yarn (for the “nose”);
• “grass” yarn (to imitate hedgehog needles);
• hook No. 2;
• a piece of padding polyester for the “muzzle”;
• fabric "eyes".

We start knitting from the top of the head. We make a chain of 5 chains and connect them into a circle. We knit b/n columns around the ring with the addition of loops:

• in the 1st row - in each loop;
• in the 2nd - through a loop;
• in the 3rd - every 3 loops.

We periodically try on knitting to the top of the child’s head. When the edge of the disc reaches the crown, we switch to knitting the side walls without any additions.

As soon as the canvas reaches the top points of the child’s ears, We begin to knit an elastic band from embossed columns:

• 1st row: rise in 3 ch for, double crochets to the end of the row, 1 ss;
• 2nd row: 3 ch, then alternate 4 rs and 1 irs to the end of the row, 1 ss;
• We knit the 3rd and 4th rows, like the 2nd, combining the pattern with the previous row: knit stitches - above the knit stitches, purl stitches - above the purl stitches.

The base of the hedgehog hat is ready. Now we need to create the head of our “little animal”.

From “grass” yarn we knit a hedgehog’s “hairstyle”. To do this, we cast on a chain with a length equal to the semicircle of the cap and knit a rectangle with double crochets that will cover the back of the head. We tie the hedgehog’s “bangs” to it - a smaller rectangle. Sew the “needles” to the hat.

We knit the “muzzle” like this:

• We close the chain of 5 ch with a ring;
• We knit 2 rows, adding 1 sc to each loop;
• in the 3rd row we decrease 2 sc;
• We knit the subsequent rows, evenly adding 3 sc, to the desired length of the “muzzle”.

The “nose” is made of black yarn according to the pattern of the first three rows of the “muzzle”.

We sew the “nose” to the “muzzle”. We fill the “muzzle” with padding polyester and sew it to the hat.

We make “ears” according to the scheme:

• dial 5 ch and close the chain into a ring;
• knit sc to half the ring;
• turn the knitting over, ch 1 for lifting, semicircle from sc;
• We continue in this way until the desired ear size.

Finally, we sew the “ears” and “eyes” to the “muzzle” - and the funny hedgehog hat is ready!

Hat with animal face

One of the cool hats for boys is a cheerful autumn-spring model with flaps for the ears - every child will like it.

The description is given for sizes 44–48.

Take yarn from wool (53%) and polyacrylic (47%) with a thickness of 100 m/100 g, 50 g each, gray melange, white and black. You will need a size 7 hook.

We cast on 40 ch with a gray thread and connect it into a circle. We knit in a spiral with b/n columns. In the second row, change the gray thread to white and knit 5 rows. Then we return to the gray yarn.

At a height of 14 cm, we begin to gradually narrow the knitting:

• 1st row: knit every 7th and 8th loop together (= 35 p.);
• 2nd row: every 6th and 7th - together (= 30 p.);
• 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th rows: decrease 5 stitches (= 10 stitches).

We tighten the remaining 10 loops with thread, secure it and hide it on the wrong side.

On both sides of the front cutout (15 loops) we knit ear flaps 9 sc wide. In the front rows of the valve, we decrease 1 sc from both edges until 3 loops remain.

We knit the “ears” of the animal in rows like this:

• 1st: ch 9;
• 2nd and 3rd: 9 sc;
• 3rd, 4th, 5th: decrease 1 sc from each edge (= 3 sc).

For the “eyes” you need to knit two circles of black yarn:

• We close 4 ch with a ring;
• make a circular row of 8 sc;
• we make another row of 16 sc.

We knit the “nose” in straight rows:

• 1st: ch 5;
• 2nd: 5 sc;
• 3rd, 4th: decrease 1 loop from the edges (= 1 sc).

We use black yarn to tie the rounded “ears” and the perimeter of the cap into single crochets.

We sew “ears”, “eyes”, “nose”, black “antennae” to the product. We embroider the centers of the “eyes” using white thread stitches.

Hats for the little ones

Knitted items should not irritate the delicate skin of children, so for the little ones, choose yarn marked “children’s” or baby.

Melange cap

It is very easy to crochet a hat for a baby boy. The pattern consists of regular single crochets.

Prepare for work 100 g of wool (100%) melange yarn (410 m/100 g) and a hook No. 4.5.

We knit circular rows with double thread, starting from the crown. We open each row with a lifting air loop instead of 1 sc and close it with a connecting post.

Row diagram:

• 1st: on a chain of 8 ch we perform 8 sc and close the circle with 1 sl;
• 2nd: double in each sc (= 16 sc);
• 3rd: double sbn after 1 p. (= 24 sbn);
• 4th: add sc after 2 stitches (= 32 sc);
• 5th: add sc after 3 stitches (= 40 sc);
• Then we knit according to the pattern of the 5th row until the edge of the disc reaches the level of the baby’s crown.

We go through the rows of the side part without additions.

4 cm before the end of the work we make a decrease in one circular row: we knit every 7th and 8th sc together.

We bring the knitting to the level of the child’s earlobes. And we finish the job.

Hat with pompoms

Even a novice needlewoman can easily crochet this funny and cute hat for a boy.

We knit a cylinder-shaped fabric in circular rows, without increasing or decreasing: at the beginning of the row - 3 ch inc, 84/92/98 dc, 1 dc in the 3rd ch inc at the end.

We perform 20/24/28 rows in this way and break the thread.

We connect the upper edge of the product crosswise, crocheting single crochets, so that we get 4 corners.

We make 4 multi-colored pom-poms from yarn of other shades and sew them to the corners of the hat.
